Phacoemulsification surgery, which is a sutureless, painless procedure done under topical or local anaesthesia with foldable lens which is inserted through a small incision, is routinely done at our hospital to treat the cataract and restore good vision. Patients can choose from our wide range of indian, imported hydrophilic and hydrophobic lenses.

Diabetic retinopathy is a result of uncontrolled long-standing diabetes. It is a vision threatening disorder. It is treated at our hospital by investigations like FFA, OCT, microperimetry. The treatment is done by laser photocoagulation and intra vitreal anti- VEGF injection, ozurdex implants.

Vitreoretina surgery is carried out for advanced diabetic retinopathy cases. Patient enjoys long-term good vision after the treatment.

We have an experience of treating more than 2000 patients of diabetic retinopathy and long follow up of patients.

Glaucoma is called the silent killer of vision where there is a reduction in sight due to high intra ocular pressure of one or both eye. Applanation tonometry, Gonioscopy, A/S OCT for pachymetry, angle scan Fundus photo ,Visual fields are the investingations done. Medical treatment with drops and surgical trabeculectomy is routinely done to treat these patients in our hospital.

This particular surgery is used to treat numerous eye condition of retina/ macula and vitreous. This is done in our modular OT with a laminar air flow most advanced haag streit microscope with the vide angle viewing system (EIBOS) with vitrectomy with high cut rate with endo laser, cryotherapy is available at GROVER HOSPITAL. Surgeries like a macular hole, complicated retinal detachments, vitreous Hge are done routinely done here.

General eye checkup for children including Refraction, Retinoscopy, spectacle correction, amblyopia therapy.Fundus examination with indirect ophthalmoscopy for high myope.ROP screening and treatment for premature babies specially done in our hospital.

In this eye care section, eye injuries (traumatic injuries) are treated with the help of both operative and nonoperative approaches. After the surgery, a patient requires critical observation, care and management from the Ophthalmologist and a good care team.

Uveitis represents to the class of eye disease which involves inflammation of coats(layers) of the eye. This can lead to serious problems resulting in visual loss especially that involving the posterior segment. At our hospital these diseases are treated with holistic approach after coordination with rheumatologist. Eye investigations include FFA, OCT, systemic tests for TB, Sarcoidosis and other infective causes of uveitis. Dr Shveta Grover has extensively worked on uveitis during her stay at PGI, Chd and in Vellore and Bangalore. Hence acquiring deep insight into the subject.

Cornea is the transparent layer of the eye which allows light to pass through the eye. The disease affecting the cornea grossly hampered the visual acuity and can result in permanent visual loss if not treated in time. At our hospital we do medical management of corneal diseases with investigative tools like fluorescein stain, rose bengal stain, scrapping, KOH, gram stain, glue BCL. Surgical correction of pterygium with autograft is also done routinely.
